年龄政策

Our applications and this website are intended for, offered to and directed at people aged 18 or over. They are not designed for children, they are not marketed to children, and we do not knowingly permit anyone under 18 to create an account, subscribe or otherwise use them. By installing or using anything we publish, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement.

Where the age of digital majority or the age of contractual capacity where you live is higher than 18, that higher age applies to you instead.

We do not knowingly collect, use, sell, share or otherwise process personal data from anyone under 18. We do not build profiles of minors, we do not target advertising at minors, and we do not run age based personalisation for minors, because minors are not within our intended audience at all.

If we learn, or have good reason to believe, that a person under 18 has created an account or provided personal data to us, we will close the account and delete the associated personal data without undue delay, and in any event within 30 days, unless a law requires us to keep a limited record of the deletion itself. We do not charge for this and we do not require a court order or a formal legal request.

If you are a parent or legal guardian and you believe a child in your care has given us personal data or is using one of our applications, write to hello@15xlabs.com with the subject line "Minor account". Tell us the app, and any account identifier, email address or device you know of. We will verify what we reasonably can, act on it, and confirm back to you in writing what was removed.

You do not need to prove your relationship before we act on an obvious case. Where we ask for verification, it is only to make sure we are not deleting the wrong person's account, and we ask for the least information that will do the job.

Our applications carry age ratings on the App Store and Google Play that reflect their content and this policy. We complete each store's content rating questionnaire honestly and keep the answers current when an app changes. Where a store or a national regulator requires a higher rating, a specific age gate or an age assurance step for a particular category of content, we apply it.

• United States: the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act applies to services directed at children under 13 and to actual knowledge of collection from them. Our services are not directed at children and we delete on actual knowledge.
• European Economic Area: Article 8 of the GDPR sets the age for a child's own consent to information society services at 16, or between 13 and 16 as each member state decides. Our 18 threshold sits above every one of those, so no parental consent mechanism is engaged.
• United Kingdom: the Age Appropriate Design Code applies to services likely to be accessed by children. Our services are adult only, are not designed to appeal to children, and we assess new features against that standard before release.
• India: the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 requires verifiable parental consent before processing a child's personal data and prohibits tracking, behavioural monitoring and targeted advertising directed at children. We do not process children's data at all.
• Elsewhere: where national law sets a different age of digital consent or imposes additional duties for minors, that law applies and our 18 threshold is applied on top of it, never instead of it.

Anyone, not only a parent, can report a suspected underage user, a child safety concern or any content involving a minor. Write to hello@15xlabs.com with the subject line "Child safety". Reports of illegal content involving minors are treated as urgent, are escalated the same day, and are reported to the competent authorities where the law requires it.

This applies to this website and to every mobile application and service published by 15X Labs, without exception.
