We target WCAG 2.2 Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines across this website and our applications, together with the platform accessibility guidance published by Apple and Google. This is also the standard referenced by the European Accessibility Act, the EN 301 549 harmonised standard, the Americans with Disabilities Act practice in the United States, and the accessibility regulations in the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia.

• Support the system text size, bold text and reduced motion settings on both platforms.
• Maintain readable colour contrast, and never use colour alone to communicate meaning.
• Label controls and images so screen readers such as VoiceOver and TalkBack can announce them.
• Keep interactive targets large enough to hit comfortably, and keyboard reachable on the web.
• Test with assistive technology as part of shipping significant interface work.

Accessibility is never finished. Some areas may still fall short, in particular chart, camera and image based features where visual output is the point of the feature, third party content or advertising we do not control, and newly shipped screens before their first accessibility pass. We treat reported barriers as defects and prioritise them accordingly.
